Benita Swick
Pastor Benita is a Contemporary Charismatic Minister and is independently ordained and Licensed / Bonded through the State of WV. She has over 12-years of hands on ministry training in Youth, Young Adult, Eldership Ministry, and Sr. Pastor Ministry.
The Pastor is also gifted in teaching passion for God through music. She is a very talented musician playing 12-different instruments as well as providing vocals. She has also written, composed, and arranged many of her own Worship Songs. She has led Worship Services in Pennsylvania, Throughout West Virginia, and as far away as Atlanta, Georgia.
Pastor Benita is also very gifted in the Spiritual Arts; Dance, Signing to music, and Drama.
Along with her Musical and Arts gifting she also carries an annointing to Preach and Teach God's Word. She has preached Youth Revivals throughout North Central WV, Southern Pennsylvania, and as far away as Raleigh North Carolina. Pastor Benita recently graduated from the West Virginia Christian University where she studied Christian Counseling. Pastor Benita has served as Senior Co-Pastor at Haven of Hope for over 5-years, and serves as the Director of Hope's Pantry.
Howard Swick
Pastor Howard is a Contemporary Charismatic Minister and is independently ordained and Licensed / Bonded through the State of WV and is Certified as a Rev. through St Luke Ministry Assoc. He has over 12-years of hands on ministry training in Youth, Young Adult, Eldership, and Sr. Pastor Ministry.
The Pastor is known for preaching a Modern Cutting Edge "On-Fire" Word of God. He has preached Youth Revivals throughout North Central WV, Southern Pennsylvania, and as far away as Raleigh North Carolina. As a Sr. Pastor he has Crossed Denominational Barriers and preached at Methodist, Baptist, Nazarene, Pentecostal, and other Independent Churches. Along with his wife Benita he has served as Senior Pastors at Haven of Hope for over 5-years.
Howard also currently serves as the Director of Spiritual Services and Faith-Based Initiatives for Hospice Care Corporation. He started working for Hospice Care as a Chaplin after nearly 10-years in the Radio Broadcasting Industry.
Along with his duties at the church and with Hospice Care, Pastor Howard has also found time to serve on the Philippi Main Street Board of Directors (for over 11-years), the Philippi CVB Board of Directors, and the Barbour County American Cancer Society Relay for Life Board.
