Hope's Pantry began with a vision and became reality in January 2000 and provides food to nearly 100 families a month in Barbour County along with other community outreaches which include; providing clothing, toys, and household goods to the general public at various times throughout the year. Our goals are to educate people on nutrition, personal hygiene, and household management. We believe if we are ministering effectively, we must minister to the whole man, mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.
Each year we give out nearly $10,000 in toys to families in Barbour County through our "Hope for Christmas" toy outreach. Around 200 children are blessed every year with NEW toys at Christmas time thanks to our congregation, community businesses, and donors.

The Bible talks about how we are to give. That’s what Mission 3:16 is all about, Giving. Giving to our community, to those in need, we become the hands and feet of Jesus. Each year, since 2010, hundreds of bags of new and used clothing along with household furnishings, books, and other items are given out to the the community. During the day we also give out grocery cards, gift certificates, and FREE Lunch. There are also plenty of activities for the kids including Face-painting, Glass pitch, Inflatables, popcorn, cotton candy, and more.
